More pessimism is required please

The news says…..the Westpac–Melbourne Institute Consumer Sentiment Index declined 2.9 per cent to 80.6 in June 2026.

So what!

It’s not the notional number that’s of interest.

Australian Consumer Sentiment as measured by this survey, isn’t pessimistic enough.
